The Sissy-Eared Mollycoddles

The Sissy-Eared Mollycoddles is a Chicago-based new music ensemble

The SEMC ensemble specializes in works for bağlama, guitar, bass, percussion. Formed in 2007, SEMC has commissioned works from numerous composers and is always looking for more. Because of its unique instrumentation and thirst for the new, SEMC has focused its effort entirely on performing works written specifically for the group. In 2008, SEMC held its first annual Young Composer's Competition, and performed works by winners Otto Muller and Ryan Brown.
